Design Synopsis Report

The Design Synopsis report is shown in the lower view on the Design tab and is also available from the Print Report Manager dialog box.

This report presents a summary of the design results from the analysis and also the design parameters set in the Design Parameters dialog box.

The first set of design information is the amount of minimum Pjack for each tendon required to satisfy tension requirements. The name of the controlling combination is given in parentheses. The amount of Pjack required at each POI and for the top and bottom of the cross section is available from the Design Results screen. A service combination is required in the Final or Final w/o Sway analysis/design cases in order to have minimum Pjack designed.

The second set of design information is the Initial (f9ci) and Final (f9c) concrete compressive strengths required to satisfy compression requirements. The concrete strengths required at each POI and for the top and bottom of the cross section are available from the Design Results screen. A service combination is required in the Initial, and Final or Final w/o Sway analysis/design cases in order to have minimum f′c and f9ci designed.

The third set of design information shows losses based on code equations. The following individual components, as well as the total, is presented:

The total loss can be used to verify the amount of lump sum loss specified on the Project tab. The fourth and last set of design information is an echo of the current design parameters set using the Design Parameters dialog box.
